Operating limit

If all the gate valves on the pipeline are fully open when the centrifugal pump is operating at point M, then point M is referred to as operating limit of the pump.

That is to say, in this water pump device, the maximum flow rate passing through the pipe is Q when the static lift is maintained. After the working condition point is determined, the corresponding parameters such as shaft power, efficiency, and water absorption performance can be found from the corresponding curves.

In the actual project, if the working condition of the pump is running, it can fall on the design parameter value of the pump. At this time, the pump has the highest working efficiency and the most economical work.
