Operating condition

12 Jul 2018Email

Pump operating conditions refer to the working conditions under certain conditions, that is, the relationship between various parameters.
The optimal operating point of the pump refers to the point at which the pump is most efficient.

For example, when we choose a centrifugal pump, what kind of water pump should we use, we must first know what the medium pumped by this pump is, whether it is placed in the water, or on the ground, whether it has a suction, for example, you To use a water pump to drain the sewage, then you have to use a sewage pump, and you know that this pump should be placed in the water, where you can estimate that the type of water pump is diving, because this pump is placed Inside the water, it is also used for sewage disposal.

After determining the type of pump, it is necessary to consider its economic performance, paying particular attention to the choice of the head and flow of the pump and its supporting power. It must be noted that the head (total head) indicated on the pump sign is different from the head of the water (actual head) when used, because there is a certain resistance loss when the water flows through the water pipe and the pipeline. Therefore, the actual lift of the pump is generally 10% to 20% lower than the total head, and the amount of water is also reduced accordingly.

Therefore, in actual use, it can only be estimated from 80% to 90% of the head and flow rate of the signage. The choice of pump power can be selected according to the power indicated on the label. In order to make the pump start quickly and safely used, the power machine The power can also be slightly larger than the power required by the pump, generally about 10% higher; if there is power, when purchasing the pump, you can purchase the matching pump according to the power of the power machine.
