Technical Standards for Overhaul of Rolling Bearings of Centrifugal Pumps Used in Corrosion-resistant Chemical Industry

Corrosion-resistant chemical centrifugal pumps generally have two types: vertical and horizontal. Horizontal types include direct coupling and split. Usually, the motor is used to drive the impeller to complete the delivery. The bearing is a very important rotating equipment when the centrifugal pump rotates. Bearing types Many, common rolling bearings generally consist of four parts:

Cage-used to evenly separate the rolling elements to prevent friction and collision between the rolling elements.

Outer ring-installed in the body or bearing seat, generally fixed.

Inner ring-mounted on the shaft, closely matched with the shaft and rotates with the shaft.

Rolling element-installed in the raceway between the inner and outer rings, there are types of balls, rollers, and rollers.

 

Types of rolling bearings:

Thrust bearings-only bear axial load, commonly used thrust bearings such as thrust ball bearings.

Centripetal thrust bearings-bearing axial and radial loads at the same time, commonly used such as tapered roller bearings.

Radial bearings-mainly bear radial load, commonly used radial bearings such as deep l-groove ball bearings.

Technical standards for overhaul of rolling bearings of centrifugal pumps for corrosion-resistant chemical industry:

1. The matching of bearing and shaft adopts the base hole system, and the matching of bearing and housing adopts the base shaft system. The value of bearing dimensional tolerance and rotation accuracy is in accordance with GB 307-84.

2. The journal and the inner hole of the bearing box matched with the bearing are in accordance with the provisions of GB 1031-83, the journal roughness Ra value is less than 1.6μm, and the bearing housing inner hole roughness Ra value is less than 2.5μm.

3. When using GCr15 and ZGCr15 steel to manufacture bearing rings and rollers, the hardness value of the rings and rollers should be 61~65HRC; when using GCr15SiMn and ZGCr15SiMn steel, the hardness value should be 60~64HRC. The hardness inspection method and the uniformity of the hardness of the same part are in accordance with JB 1255.

4. Check that the radial clearance and axial clearance of the bearing should meet the requirements of GB 4604-84.

5. The raceways of the inner and outer rings of the rolling bearing should be free from peeling and severe wear, and there should be no cracks on the inner and outer rings; the balls should be free from wear, the cage should not be severely deformed, and there should be no abnormal noise and vibration during rotation. It should be stopped gradually when stopped.

6. For C-class tolerance tapered roller bearings, the contact accuracy between the roller and the raceway of the ring should be checked under a certain load. The contact traces should be continuous, and the contact length should not be less than 80% of the roller bus. .
