Selection of Flow Head and Pipe Layout of Wear-resistant Mining Centrifugal Pump
Selection of Flow Head and Pipe Layout of Wear-resistant Mining Centrifugal Pump
In actual work, for a wear-resistant mine centrifugal pump, the head and flow are two important parameters. When the model of the wear-resistant mine centrifugal pump is determined, its power consumption is proportional to the actual flow of the pump Proportional. The flow of the pump will decrease with the increase of the head, so the higher the head, the smaller the flow and the smaller the power consumption. Conversely, the lower the head, the greater the flow and the greater the power consumed. In order to prevent the motor from being overloaded, it is generally required that the actual pumping head of the pump is not lower than 60% of the nominal head. When the high head is used for drainage with too low head, the motor is easily overloaded and heats up. In severe cases, the motor can be burned. In the operating instructions for pump workers, gate valves are required on the outlet pipe. In order to reduce the motor load when the pump starts, the gate valve should be closed first, and then the gate valve should be gradually opened after 1-2 seconds after the motor starts.
Selection of lift for wear-resistant mine centrifugal water pump
The head of the wear-resistant mine centrifugal pump is not the height of water lifting. It is especially important to choose this pump to clarify this point. The pump head is approximately 1.15 to 1.20 times the height of the pumping water. If the vertical height of a water source to the water consumption is 20 meters, the required head is about 23 to 24 meters. When choosing a pump, the head on the nameplate of the pump should be close to the required head. In this case, the pump has the highest efficiency and will be more economical to use. But it is not necessarily required to be absolutely equal. As long as the deviation does not exceed 20%, the pump can work under more energy-saving conditions.
Selection of pump flow rate and piping layout of wear-resistant mine centrifugal pump
The flow rate of the centrifugal water pump for wear-resistant mines should generally not be too large, otherwise it will increase the cost of purchasing the pump. Specific problems should be analyzed in detail, and comprehensive consideration should be given to various factors such as the amount of drainage, and the appropriate flow rate can ensure the needs of normal production. When laying pipes, the following items should be noted:
(1) Reasonably choose the pipe diameter, the pipe diameter is large, under the same flow rate, the liquid flow speed is small, the resistance loss is small, but the price is high, and the pipe diameter is small, which will cause a sharp increase in resistance loss and increase the head of the selected pump. With the increase of the distribution power, the cost and operating expenses increase. The following are the more common pipelines, flow and velocity tables in the work.
