Maintenance of multi-stage pumps
Check whether there is any looseness in the pipes and joints of the multi-stage pump. Tumble the multistage pump by hand to see if the multistage pump is sensitive. Add bearing lubricating oil to the bearing body, observe that the oil level should be at the center line of the oil mark, and the lubricant should be replaced or replenished in time.
Unscrew the water diversion screw plug of the pump body of the multi-stage pump, and pour water diversion (or slurry). Close the gate valve of the outlet pipe, the outlet pressure gauge and the inlet vacuum gauge. Jog the motor to see if the rotation direction of the motor is correct.
Turn on the motor. When the multi-stage pump is in normal operation, turn on the outlet pressure gauge and the inlet vacuum pump to see the proper pressure, then gradually turn on the gate valve to check the motor load condition together.
Try to control the flow and head of the pipeline pump within the range indicated on the label to ensure that the multi-stage pump operates at the power point to achieve great energy-saving effects.
During the operation of the multi-stage pump, the bearing temperature should not exceed 35C and the temperature should not exceed 80C. If the multi-stage pump is found to have abnormal sound, stop and check the cause immediately.
When the multi-stage pump is to be used intermittently, first close the gate valve and pressure gauge, and then interrupt the motor.
In the first month of operation, the multi-stage pump will replace the lubricating oil after 100 hours, and then change the oil every 500 hours thereafter.
Always adjust the packing gland to ensure that the leakage in the packing chamber is normal (it is better to leak out as a drip). Regularly check the wear status of the shaft sleeve, and replace it in time when the wear is large. When the multi-stage pump is used in the cold winter season, after stopping, unscrew the drain plug at the bottom of the pump body to drain the medium. Avoid freezing and cracking.
If the multi-stage pump is out of service for a long time, it is necessary to disassemble all the pumps, wipe off the water, and apply grease to the rolling parts and joints.
