Installation regulations and characteristics of non-blocking pipeline pumps
Installation regulations and characteristics of non-blocking pipeline pumps
1. When installing a non-blocking pipeline pump, the cable should be overhead and the power cord should not be too long. When the clean water pipeline pump unit is launched into the water, do not force the cable to avoid breaking the power cord. Do not sink the pipeline pump into the mud, otherwise it will cause poor heat dissipation of the motor and burn out the motor windings.
2. Pay attention to its model, flow and head when purchasing a non-clogging pipeline pump. If the selected specifications are not appropriate, sufficient water output will not be obtained and the efficiency of the unit will not be exerted. In addition, the direction of rotation of the motor should also be clarified. Some types of pipeline pumps can produce water during forward and reverse rotation, but the water output is small and the current is large during reverse rotation. The reverse rotation will damage the motor windings. In order to prevent electric shock accidents caused by leakage of the pipeline pump when working underwater, it is recommended to install a leakage protection switch.
3. Check the motor more often. If cracks in the lower cover, damage or failure of the rubber sealing ring, etc. are found, they should be replaced or repaired in time to prevent water penetration into the machine.
4. Try to avoid starting at low voltage. The power supply voltage should not be 10% different from the rated voltage. If the voltage is too high, the motor will overheat and burn out the windings. If the voltage is too low, the motor speed will decrease. If it does not reach 70% of the rated speed, the start centrifugal switch will be closed, resulting in a long start winding. Time is energized to generate heat and even burn out windings and capacitors. Do not switch the motor frequently. This is because when the electric pump stops rotating, there will be backflow. If it is turned on immediately, the motor load will start, resulting in excessive starting current and burning of the windings.
5. Do not allow the pipeline pump to be overloaded for a long time. Do not pump water with a large amount of sand in the clean water type. The dehydration operation time of the electric pump should not be too long, so as to prevent the motor from overheating and burning. During the operation of the unit, the operator must always observe whether its working voltage and current are within the values specified on the nameplate. If not, the motor should be stopped to find the cause and troubleshoot (a fire control cabinet can be installed instead of manual inspection).
