How to install the pump

   A centrifugal pump is a machine that conveys liquids or pressurizes liquids. It is a device that needs to be used in various industries, so how to install the water pump? What is the schematic diagram of the pump installation location?

How to install the pump

   Water pump installation and construction conditions:

   1. The pump installation layer has passed the structural acceptance.

  2. The relevant axis and elevation of the building have been drawn.

   3. The concrete strength of the pump foundation has reached more than 70%.

  Water pump installation process: basic inspection→water pump in place installation→test and adjustment→lubrication and refueling→trial run

 

   Water pump overall installation

   The water pump, electric motor and cast iron frame have been assembled before leaving the factory. After the frame is in place, the installation is completed by aligning and leveling.

  Water pump split assembly

   If the pump body and motor are separately packed and shipped from the factory, the pump body and motor must be installed on the concrete foundation respectively, and then the pump body and motor are installed and connected.

  1, basic inspection

   The base coordinates, elevation, size, and reserved holes shall meet the design requirements. The foundation surface is flat and the concrete strength meets the equipment installation requirements

  1) The plane size of the pump foundation should be 100~150mm wider than the circumference of the pump unit base when installed without vibration isolation; it should be 15omm wider than the circumference of the pump vibration isolation base when installed with vibration isolation. The elevation of the top of the foundation should be more than 100mm higher than the finished surface of the pump room when installed without vibration isolation, and more than 50mm above the finished surface of the pump room when installed with vibration isolation, and shall not form water. Drainage facilities are provided around the periphery of the foundation for easy maintenance. Water leaks or eliminate accidental leaks.

 

  2) The oil, gravel, soil, and water on the surface of the pump foundation and the reserved holes of the anchor bolts should be cleaned; the threads and nuts of the embedded anchor bolts should be well protected; the surface of the place where the shim is placed should be chiseled flat.

   2. Install the pump in place

   Place the pump on the foundation, and use the horn to align the pump. After the pump is installed, the same set of shim irons should be spot welded to avoid loosening during force.

  1) The pump has no vibration isolation installation.

After the pump is aligned and leveled, install the anchor bolts. The bolts should be vertical. The exposed length of the bolts should be 1/2 of the diameter of the bolts. When the anchor bolts are grouted for the second time, the strength of the concrete should be 1 to 2 higher than the foundation. And not less than C25; the grouting should be compacted, and the anchor bolts should not be tilted and affect the installation accuracy of the pump unit.

   2) Vibration isolation installation of water pump.

  ① Horizontal pump vibration isolation installation horizontal water pump unit vibration isolation measures are to install rubber shock absorbers (pads) or spring shock absorbers under the reinforced concrete base or section steel base.

  ②Vertical water pump vibration isolation installation Vertical water pump unit vibration isolation measures are to install rubber shock absorbers (pads) under the water pump unit base or steel backing plate.

  ③Rigid connection is adopted between the base of the pump unit and the damping base or steel backing plate.

  ④ The model specification and installation position of the damping pad or shock absorber should meet the design requirements. The shock absorber pads under the same base should use the same model products from the same manufacturer.

  ⑤ The water pump unit must take measures to prevent the water pump unit from tilting during the installation of the shock absorber (pad). After the shock absorber (pad) of the water pump unit is installed, measures must be taken to prevent the water pump unit from tilting to ensure safe construction when installing the water pump unit inlet and outlet pipes, accessories and accessories.

  3) Large-scale water pump assembly on-site When the pump and motor of a large-scale water pump are separated and assembled on site, the precautions are as follows

  ① On the concrete foundation, make the steel bracket according to the design drawings, and fix it on the foundation with anchor bolts for rough water

  ② If the motor needs to be core-pulled before the pump and motor are in place, make sure that the enameled wire skin of the motor rotor and stator windings is not bumped. Check whether there are foreign objects in the stator slot; test whether the gap between the rotor and the stator is uniform, whether there is a waist sweep phenomenon; whether the motor bearing is intact. If the replacement of the lubricating oil water pump needs to be cleaned, it must be disassembled. When adopting the form of bearing bush, it is necessary to detect the bearing clearance to avoid the phenomenon of excessive looseness or shaft holding. The coupling of the pump and the motor is fixed with the shaft with a key, and the installation is required to be flat. It can be measured with a square or level ruler. Everything is in place

 

   3. Detection and adjustment.

Use a level and a wire drop to measure and adjust the processing surface of the inlet and outlet flanges and base of the pump, and install the pump precisely. For the integrally installed pump, the horizontality of the horizontal pump body should not be greater than 01/1000, and the vertical pump body The verticality should not be greater than 0.1/1000.

When the pump and the motor are connected by a coupling, use a dial indicator, feeler gauge, etc. to measure and adjust the axial and radial directions of the coupling. The axial tilt of the coupling should not be greater than 0.8/1000, and the radial displacement should not be greater than 0.8/1000. Should be greater than 0.1mm.

  When adjusting the concentricity of the pump and the motor, loosen the bolts on the coupling, the bolts connecting the pump to the motor and the base, and use thin steel plates or thin copper sheets of different thicknesses to adjust the angular displacement and radial displacement. Pry up a certain corner of the motor or water pump that needs to be adjusted, and place the thin steel plate or thin copper skin cut into the shape of the following figure on the bolt.

   After passing the test, tighten the original loose bolts.

   4. Lubrication and oiling.

   Check the oil cup of the water pump and refuel, turn the coupling, and turn the water pump should be flexible and no abnormal phenomenon.

   5. Test run.

   Open the water inlet valve and the water pump exhaust valve to fill the water pump with water, and close the valve on the water pump outlet pipe. Start the pump first to check if there is any abnormality and whether the steering of the motor meets the steering requirements of the pump. Then start the water pump and slowly open the valve on the outlet pipe to check the operation of the pump, the temperature rise of the motor and the bearing, the pointer value of the pressure gauge and the vacuum gauge, and the connection of the pipes. They should be normal and meet the design requirements.

 

 

  How to install the pump in the following positions:

   1. Under the conditions permitted by the geographical environment, the pump should be as close to the water source as possible to reduce the length of the suction pipe. The foundation of the pump installation place should be firm, and a special foundation should be repaired for fixed pumping stations.

   2. The water inlet pipe should be sealed and reliable, must have special support, and can not be hung on the pump. The inlet pipe equipped with a bottom valve should be installed as far as possible so that the axis of the bottom valve is perpendicular to the horizontal plane, and the angle between the axis and the horizontal plane should not be less than 45°. When the water source is a channel, the bottom valve should be more than 0.50 meters above the bottom of the water, and a net should be added to prevent debris from entering the pump.

  3. The base of the machine and pump should be level, and the connection with the foundation should be firm. When the machine and pump are driven by the belt, the tight side of the belt is down, so that the transmission efficiency is high. The direction of the impeller of the water pump should be the same as the direction indicated by the arrow; when the coupling is used for transmission, the machine and pump must be coaxial.

  4. The installation position of the water pump should meet the requirements of the allowable vacuum height, and the foundation must be level and stable to ensure that the rotation direction of the power machinery is consistent with the rotation direction of the water pump.

   5. If there are multiple units in the same machine room, there should be a distance of more than 800mm between the unit and the unit, and between the unit and the wall.

6. The suction pipe of the water pump must be well sealed, and the elbows and gate valves should be minimized. Air should be exhausted when filling and diversion. Air should not accumulate in the pipe during operation. The suction pipe must be connected with the water inlet of the pump with a slight upward slope. There is a certain submergence depth.

  2. The oil, gravel, soil, water, etc. on the surface of the pump foundation and the reserved holes of the anchor bolts should be cleaned up. The threads and nuts of the embedded anchor bolts should be well protected, and the surface of the place where the shim is placed should be chiseled flat.
