Electric motor
Electric motor is an equipment which can transfer electric energy to mechanical energy. It uses an energized coil (stator windings) to generate a rotating magnetic field and acts as a rotor (such as a squirrel cage type closed aluminum frame) to form a electromagnet rotating torque. The motors are divided into dc motor and ac motor according to different power sources. Most of the motors in the power system are ac motors, which can be synchronous motor or asynchronous motor (motor stator magnetic field speed and rotor rotation speed do not keep synchronous speed).
The motor is mainly composed of stator and rotor, and the direction of force movement of the conducting wire in the magnetic field is related to the direction of current and the direction of magnetic induction line (magnetic field direction).
The working principle of the motor is that the magnetic field acts on the force of the current, making the motor rotate.
