Correlation analysis and function of multistage centrifugal pump orifice

Multi-stage centrifugal pump ring (also known as seal ring), generally a multi-stage centrifugal pump, the number of pumps is the same as the number of rings which is a 5-stage pump, then there are 5 rings. One first ring and four other rings. The function of the multi-stage centrifugal pump orifice is to form a narrow and tortuous passage between the impeller and the pump casing to increase the flow resistance of the medium and reduce the leakage of the medium. The setting of the centrifugal pump ring also protects the main parts of the pump from wear. After the ring is worn, the new ring can be repaired or replaced, and the normal assembly clearance can be restored, which is economical and easy to repair. The integrity of the centrifugal pump ring and its radial clearance with the impeller should be checked first when disassembling the pump.

If the centrifugal pump port ring has a defect such as a groove or has been broken or the gap 艿 exceeds the value specified in Table 5, replace the new ring or repair the original ring. The structure of the centrifugal pump port ring usually has a radial gap type ring type, a double ring step type, a double ring labyrinth type, and an axial gap type. During the operation of the centrifugal pump, the corresponding circumference of the centrifugal pump port ring and the impeller wears at the same time, causing the gap to increase beyond the specified value, because the inner diameter of the new ring ring should be prepared according to the outer diameter of the impeller inlet, between the impeller and the centrifugal pump port ring. Refer to Table 5-3 for the radial clearance. In the repair process, this gap is required to be smaller to improve the pump's working efficiency and extend the service life. The material of the ring ring can be generally made of gray cast iron ht200, cast steel and stainless steel. The material of the ring ring can be determined according to technical requirements.
