Centrifugal pump water supply pipe requirements
(1) The water outlet pipe of the centrifugal pump should be able to withstand high pressure, and the welded joint of steel pipe is adopted. In order to facilitate the later maintenance, the flange interface can be used at the appropriate position.
(2) Considering that the force of the water in the water outlet pipe of the centrifugal pump is transmitted to the water pump and the water pump vibrates, a telescopic joint or a flexible rubber joint should be installed on the outlet pipe.
(3) In order to withstand the thrust caused by the pump pressure in the outlet pipe, special piers or tie rods shall be provided at certain locations (at each elbow), and the weight of the outlet pipe shall not be supported by the pump.
(4) A check valve should be installed between the pump and the outlet gate valve to prevent backflow of water from the outlet pipe.
(5) The design of the flow rate of the outlet pipe: when the pipe diameter is less than 250mm, the design flow rate is 1.5~2.0m1/s: when the pipe diameter is not less than 250mm. Design flow rate is 2.0~2.5m/s
(6) It is difficult to open the gate valve on the water outlet pipe of the pump because it is subjected to high pressure. When the diameter of the outlet pipe is greater than 400mrn, the electric gate valve or hydraulic gate valve should be used.
