Use and maintenance of wearing parts of boiler circulating feed water pump
Use and maintenance of wearing parts of boiler circulating feed water pump
The wearing parts of the water pump are the most vulnerable part of the water pump. Special care should be taken for the wearing parts during the use, repair and maintenance of the pump. So how to use and maintain the wearing parts of a boiler circulating feed water pump?
Use and maintenance of wearing parts of boiler circulating feed water pump
Use and maintenance of vulnerable parts of boiler circulating feed water pump:
1, water pump casing
Boiler circulating feed water pump pump casing is generally made of cast iron. Special pumps are lined with materials, which are prone to cracks under the action of mechanical force or thermal stress. When the water pump is impacted by cavitation during work or frozen in winter without letting off the water in the pump casing, it is also easy to rupture. If it is seriously damaged and cannot be repaired, the pump casing should be replaced with a new one.
2, water pump shaft
Boiler circulating feed water pump shaft is generally made of carbon steel, but it is also easily damaged due to factors such as manufacturing quality, use or installation. The pump shaft may appear cracks, bends, journal wear, thread damage, etc. If the damage is severe and cannot be repaired, the pump shaft should be replaced with a new one.
3, impeller
The impeller is an important working part of the pump, which is made of cast iron. Due to manufacturing quality and use, the impeller may also be damaged, cracks may appear on the impeller, holes or perforations are formed on the surface due to cavitation, the blade is thinned or partially worn by long-term erosion, and even broken by debris. When damage cannot be repaired, a new impeller should be replaced.
4, sliding bearing
The bushes of sliding bearings are generally made of copper-tin alloy, which has poor wear resistance and is one of the most vulnerable parts that are easily worn and burned. The bushes can generally be repaired or replaced with new ones. Rolling bearings generally have an average service life of 5000 hours, but improper installation, long use time or poor maintenance can also be easily worn or destroyed. In addition to the individual parts of the rolling bearing can be replaced with new ones, generally, the integral parts must be replaced.
5, mouth ring
mouth ring is one of the most easily worn parts in water pumps. After wear, it can be repaired or replaced with a new one. When replacing the new leakage reducing ring, its inner diameter should be configured according to the outer diameter of the impeller inlet. If the outer diameter of the impeller inlet is worn out, it can be turned to eliminate groove marks and ellipses, and then equipped with a leakage reducing ring with a reduced inner diameter. The outer diameter of the impeller inlet can generally be turned three times.
6, filler
The packing will become hard and lose its elasticity after a long time, which may cause the water pump to leak air and water. Generally, the packing should be replaced with a new one.
7, oil seal
The oil seal of the boiler circulating feed water pump is a rubber product, which is easy to wear and age. Generally, new parts must be replaced when the above conditions occur.
