1. Faults and solutions for the balancing device of segmented multistage centrifugal pumps
When the balance disc and the balance ring are worn too much (generally more than 2mm) or uneven, first flatten the worn grooves of the two, and add a gasket behind the balance ring to compensate for the reduced thickness. The added gasket must be even and flat, and should be replaced when it is worn too much.
2. Faults of impeller and mouth ring of segmented multi-stage pump and solutions
The blades of the water pump impeller are damaged due to cavitation or inhalation of solid impurities. If the orifice ring is too worn to be repaired, the impeller should be replaced; if there is only a little wear on the impeller orifice ring, repair can be performed. The method is to pierce the impeller with a mandrel on the lathe to flatten the groove of the impeller mouth ring, and then determine the inner diameter of the seal ring according to the size of the impeller mouth ring after turning.
