1. Selection of pump type for mine strong discharge pump

Selection is a very important task. If it is not selected properly, it will cause the pump flow to be too large or too small, the head is too high or low, the material is not abrasion-resistant, corroded, etc., which is not only unsatisfactory in use Production requirements, low efficiency and short life span, cause waste and loss. In severe cases, other accidents may even occur due to the inability to achieve the expected working conditions in an emergency. The selection is mainly based on flow and head. It is necessary to know the minimum flow and maximum flow required by the equipment and the pump is selected based on the maximum flow. If the maximum flow is not given, it is usually 1.1 times the normal flow. In addition to the minimum suction liquid level and the maximum water delivery height, the head required by the installation system should also consider the layout of the piping system. Generally, 1.05~1.1 times of the system head is taken when the pump is selected. After determining the two performance parameters of flow and head, determine which pump type to use according to the requirements of the device system. Generally, pumps of DG type, MD type and PJ type are selected for mine drainage pumps. The main difference between the D type and MD type pumps is the material, the latter has better anti-wear performance; MDP type pump is a high-lift mining strong drainage pump developed by Zoomlion Pump, in addition to having strong resistance In addition to wear performance, it also has the characteristics of high efficiency, good cavitation performance, smooth operation, long life, low speed and high lift. The specific choice of pump should be determined according to the specific conditions of the piping system and the water quality requirements.

In many cases, there are several pump types that meet the required flow and head. At this time, other factors should be considered comprehensively. For example: the relationship between the size of the motor and the diameter of the mine, which is mainly related to the transportation of the motor. In addition, many mine drainage pumps have two configurations of rolling bearings and sliding bearings. The advantages of rolling bearings are simple structure, easy assembly, strong versatility of parts, easy to purchase, but with less impact force, relatively short life, and generally used in middle , Small pumps; the advantages of sliding bearings are stable and reliable operation, no noise, and can withstand large impact loads. However, due to their complex structure, large volume, and large frictional stress during starting, they are usually used for large and medium-sized pumps. When selecting the pump, you should determine which configuration to use according to the actual situation of the user.

  (1) Fully meet the requirements of water supply and drainage design standards. According to the seasonal flow and head, try to make the selected water pump near the design rated operating point when the pump station is designed to operate, so that the pump station's highest and lowest head operating conditions (or adjusted operating conditions) , Within its high efficiency zone. Make sure that the rated flow head of the selected water pump is close to the flow and head actually required by the device. One is to reduce the high margin head; the other is to make the pump run at or close to the rated working condition to save energy and improve the operating efficiency of the pump.

   (2) Choose a pump type that has good performance and is compatible with the head and flow changes of the pump station. First of all, we should choose a pump with high wear resistance and high efficiency, good cavitation resistance, and a wide range of applications from the sample of the finalized pump series. When there are multiple pump types to choose from, technical and economic comparisons should be made and the best one should be used. When the series of products cannot meet the requirements, new products can be trial-produced, but model and device tests must be carried out, and they can be adopted after passing the technical appraisal. In pumping stations with large head changes, a pump with a steep drop in the Q-H curve should be used; in pumping stations with large changes in flow, a pump with a gentle Q-H curve should be used.

  (3) Select the number of pumps and pipeline settings according to industry requirements, that is, to ensure safety and minimize investment.

  (4) It is convenient for operation scheduling, maintenance and management.

  (5) For cascade pumping stations, the model and number of pumps should meet the flow coordination requirements of the upper and lower pumping stations, and try to avoid or reduce accidents caused by improper flow coordination.

  (6) Where necessary, try to accommodate the requirements of comprehensive utilization.
