Test of dynamic balance

13 May 2018Email

Test of dynamic balance: It is the process of detecting and correcting the dynamic balance of the rotor and meeting the requirements for use.

The difference between rotor dynamic balance and static balance:
1) Static balance: Correction balance is performed on a correction surface of the rotor, and the remaining unbalanced amount after calibration is within the allowable range to ensure that the rotor is in the statically specified range of the allowable imbalance, and the static balance is also called single-sided. balance.
2) Dynamic balance: The calibration balance is simultaneously performed on the two correction surfaces of the rotor, and the remaining unbalanced amount after calibration is within the allowable range to ensure that the dynamic state of the rotor is within the specified range of the allowable unbalance amount, and the dynamic balance is also called double Balanced.

Rotor balance selection and determination
1) How to choose the balance mode of the rotor is a key issue. Usually, the diameter D of the test piece and the distance b between the two correction faces, that is, when D/b ≥ 5, the test piece only needs to be statically balanced, and on the contrary, dynamic balance must be performed.
2) However, according to the requirements of use, as long as it is satisfied with the needs of the rotor after balancing, if it can be statically balanced, do not do dynamic balance. If it can be balanced, do not make static balance. The reason is very simple, static balance is easier to do than dynamic balance, saving effort, labor, and cost.
