Rotor imbalance is a cause of vibration failure of stainless steel horizontal centrifugal pump
Rotor imbalance is a cause of vibration failure of the stainless steel horizontal centrifugal pump. The so-called imbalance is caused by the eccentric quality of the rotor part of the stainless steel horizontal centrifugal pump or the defect of the rotor part. The eccentricity of the rotor mass is usually caused by unreasonable structural design, unevenness, manufacturing errors and installation errors of the rotor. Vibration failure of stainless steel horizontal centrifugal pumps The defects of rotor parts are usually caused by corrosion, wear and fatigue of the rotor during operation, which cause partial damage to rotor parts and material loss.
The vibration mechanism is that the line of the centroid of each cross section of the rotor does not coincide with the line of the geometric center of each section, so that the centrifugal force of each section of the rotor forms a spatial continuous force system when the rotor is rotating, resulting in the deflection curve of the rotor as a continuous three-dimensional curve. At high speeds, even a small amount of mass eccentricity will produce a large centrifugal force. This space centrifugal force system and the deflection curve of the rotor are rotating, and the speed of rotation is the same as that of the rotor, so that the rotor produces power frequency vibration. The figure below shows the rotor mechanics model.
Inertial force: F=mr-w2 where
F-unbalanced inertial force
M——The quality of rotating parts
R——The eccentricity of rotating parts
W-the rotational angular velocity of the rotating parts. Obviously, the greater the unbalanced centrifugal inertial force, the more severe the vibration.
