Pump bearing heat causes and treatment methods
1. The bearing pad scraping is not satisfactory. Treatment: Repair the bearing pads or replace them.
2. The bearing clearance is too small. Treatment: Re-adjust the bearing clearance or scrape.
3. The amount of lubricating oil is insufficient and the oil quality is poor. Treatment: increase the amount of oil or replace the lubricant.
4. Poor bearing assembly. Treatment method: Check the bearing assembly as required to eliminate the unqualified factors.
5. The cooling water is broken. Treatment method: inspection, repair.
6. The bearing is worn or loose. Treatment: Repair the bearing or scrap. If loose, tighten the bolts.
7. The pump shaft is bent. Treatment: Correct the pump shaft.
8. The slinger ring is deformed. The oil ring can't be rotated and it can't be oiled. Treatment: Update the oil ring.
9. The coupling is poorly aligned or the axial clearance is too small. Treatment: Check the alignment and adjust the axial clearance.
