Preparation before operating wear-resistant multistage pump

It is important to make preparation before using the wear-resistant multistage pump, because preparation before use is important for its service life and efficiency. Preparation before use is important to be divided into pre-start inspections, water filling and warm pumps (quite the warm-up before our exercise).

 

        1. Check whether the name, model, main performance and filling quantity of the lubricating oil meet the requirements of the technical documents before starting; whether the bearing lubrication system, sealing system and cooling system are intact, whether the oil passage and water path of the bearing are unblocked; Rotate the rotor 1~2 to check whether the rotor has friction or jam; whether there is any debris that hinders the rotation near the coupling or the belt guard; whether the base anchor bolt of the pump, the bearing housing and the motor is loose; The valve or accessory of the pump working system should be in the position where the load is minimum when the pump is running. The outlet regulating valve should be closed. The pump should be turned to see if the steering of the impeller is consistent with the design steering. If it is inconsistent, the impeller must be completely stopped. The motor wiring can be adjusted before it can be restarted.

 

        2. Water-filling Before the start-up of the multi-stage pump, the pump casing and the suction pipe must be filled with water first. This is because the vacuum of the pumping population cannot be formed and maintained in the presence of air.

 

        3. Warm pump The pump that delivers high temperature liquid, such as the boiler feed water pump of the power plant, must warm the pump before starting. This is because when the feed water pump is started, the high temperature feed water flows through the pump, so that the temperature of the pump body rises rapidly from normal temperature to 100-200 ° C, which causes the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the pump and the components, if not long enough. The heat transfer time and the proper control of the temperature rise will cause uneven expansion of the pump, resulting in deformation, wear, vibration and bearing axle accidents of the pump body.

 

        (1) Start-up procedure The wear-resistant multi-stage pump chamber and the suction pipe are all filled with water and no air, and the outlet pump is closed. The feed pump is warmed up. For forced lubrication pumps, start the oil pump to supply oil to each bearing. Start the cooling water pump or open the cooling water valve.

 

        (2) Precautions during operation The pump manufacturer has specified the temperature of the bearing. The temperature rise of the rolling bearing generally does not exceed 40 °C, and the surface temperature does not exceed 70 °C. Otherwise, it indicates that there is a problem inside the rolling bearing, and the machine should be stopped for inspection. If you continue to run, it may cause an accident. For the temperature regulation of the sliding bearing, refer to the technical documentation of the pump, the same as the rolling bearing.
