Precautions for multi-stage pump maintenance
Precautions for multi-stage pump maintenance
When the multi-stage pump is to be stopped, first close the gate valve and pressure gauge, then stop the motor. In the first month of operation, the multi-stage pump changes the lubricating oil after 100 hours, and changes the oil once every 500 hours thereafter. Regularly adjust the packing gland to ensure that the drip condition in the packing chamber is normal (it is better to make the drip out). Regularly check the wear of the shaft sleeve, and replace it in time after the wear is large. When the multi-stage pump is used in the cold winter season, after stopping, the water drain plug at the bottom of the pump body needs to be unscrewed to release the medium. Prevent frost cracking. If the multi-stage pump is out of service for a long time, it is necessary to disassemble the pump completely, wipe off the water, and apply grease to the rotating parts and joints.
The daily maintenance of the pump is very important, and it is necessary to take care of it regularly.
1. Frequently check whether the motor and the pump body are filled with oil, and whether the bearing running sound is normal during the operation of the pump
2. Whether the concentricity of the electrical connection and the pump connection are consistent
3. Whether there is water leakage and air leakage in the suction pipe of the pump
4. Whether the balance pipe is blocked
5. Is the water outlet pressure normal?
6. Whether the pump vibrates too much during operation
7. Whether the water pump bearing seat is overheated
8. Is manual cranking flexible?
9. Whether the pump installation foundation is firm
10. The pump is filled with packing and needs to be fastened or replaced frequently
Check the multi-stage pump piping and joints for looseness. Turn the multi-stage pump by hand to see if it is flexible. Add bearing lubricating engine oil to the bearing body, observe the oil level should be at the centerline of the oil standard, and the lubricant should be replaced or supplemented in time. Unscrew the water diversion plug of the pump body of the multi-stage pump and pour the water diversion (or slurry). Close the gate valve, outlet pressure gauge and inlet vacuum gauge of the outlet pipe. Jog the motor to see if the motor turns correctly. Start the motor, when the multi-stage pump is running normally, open the outlet pressure gauge and the inlet vacuum pump to see that it shows the appropriate pressure, then gradually open the gate valve, and at the same time check the motor load. Try to control the flow and head of the multi-stage pump within the range indicated on the label to ensure that the multi-stage pump operates at the highest efficiency point to obtain the maximum energy saving effect. During the operation of the DF multi-stage pump, the bearing temperature cannot exceed the ambient temperature of 35°C, and the maximum temperature must not exceed 80°C. If abnormal sound of multi-stage pump is found, stop immediately and check the cause.
