Multistage inline pump single-end mechanical seal

The multi-stage inline pump design uses a single-end mechanical seal. It should be noted that the mechanical seal has many shortcomings such as high number of parts, high precision, high installation and disassembly requirements, and corresponding high cost. However, from the point of view of actual needs and production, the advantages and disadvantages of using mechanical seals, mechanical seals are also the future development trend.

       1) Main sealing original: composed of moving ring and static ring. The moving ring and the stationary ring are generally made of different materials, one having a lower hardness and one having a higher hardness. However, it is also possible to make the two rings of the same material as the case may be.

       2) Auxiliary sealing original: It consists of moving ring seal ring, static ring seal ring and other suitable gaskets. Depending on the requirements, the auxiliary seals are often O-rings, V-rings or other shaped seal rings. In order to absorb vibrations that have a bad influence on the sealing surface, the auxiliary sealing ring is usually made of rubber or plastic.

       3) Pressing the original and other auxiliary originals: such as springs, push rings, transmission seats, anti-rotation pins, etc., as well as other parts necessary to ensure the working of the moving ring and the stationary ring, belong to this type of original. Due to the complicated working conditions of the mechanical seal, frictional heat is continuously generated on the moving ring and the static ring sealing surface during operation, resulting in vaporization of the liquid film between the moving ring and the stationary ring, and aging, coking and deformation of some parts affect the service life. . Therefore, when selecting a mechanical seal, you must also pay attention to the cooling of the mechanical seal.
