Mass flow rate

Mass flow rate is the mass of fluid through which an effective section of a fluid passes through a closed or open channel per unit of time. Unit: kg/h, kg/s. Corresponding to the volumetric flow rate (the volume through which the fluid passes per unit time), it can be expressed as the product of the volume flow rate and the fluid density. The mass flow method is mainly divided into direct method and indirect method.

Volume Flow The amount of fluid passing through a given cross-sectional area per unit time.
Volume flow - expressed in terms of volume of fluid (qv) in m3/h.

Instantaneous mass flow rate - expressed in terms of the mass of the flow (qm), referred to as mass flow, in kg/h.

Cumulative mass flow - cumulative value of fluid mass flow over time

Measuring method

Direct method
The detection component is used to make the output signal directly reflect the mass flow.
Differential pressure detection method realized by combination of orifice plate and quantitative pump;
An angular momentum detection method using a coaxial twin-turbo combination;
Application method of Manas effect
A detection method based on the Coriolis force effect.

 

Indirect method
Two corresponding components are respectively measured by two detecting elements, and the mass flow rate of the fluid is obtained indirectly through calculation.
1.a combination of a 1ρqv2 detecting element and a ρ detecting element;
2.a combination of a 2qv detecting element and a ρ detecting element;
3. Combination of ρqv2 detection element and qv detection element.
