Introduction to the forward and backlash of multistage pump
The forward stroke of the multistage pump:
When the test device is installed, the inlet of the multistage pump is connected to the outlet of the auxiliary pump, the pump is disengaged from the prime mover, and the pump shaft is fixed. During the test, the liquid flows from the inlet of the multistage pump to the outlet, and the flow rate is positive; due to the positive flush, the inlet pressure of the multistage pump is greater than the outlet pressure of the pump, and the lift is negative. The curve is in the fourth quadrant. The main measurement parameters are the flow, head and torque of the multistage pump.
Backlash of multistage pump:
When the test device is installed, the inlet of the multistage pump is connected to the outlet of the auxiliary pump, the pump is disconnected from the prime mover, and the pump shaft is fixed. During the test, the liquid flows from the outlet of the pump to the inlet of the pump, and the flow rate is negative; due to the backflush, the outlet pressure of the pump is greater than the inlet pressure of the pump, and the lift is positive. The curve is within the IIth quadrant. The main measurement parameters are pump flow, head and torque. The flow of the test.
