Installation
Pump installation
When install a centrifugal pump, we need to pay attention on the following:
1. Installation location
1) The centrifugal pump should be installed as close as possible to the water source to reduce the suction head and shorten the length of the suction pipe.
2) The pump room should be selected in a bright, dry and clean place for maintenance inspection; in addition, the space required for disassembly inspection must be reserved, especially in the case of multiple multi-stage pumps, mutual spacing, arrangement, etc. To be fully studied.
3) When considering flood control, the top surface of the installation foundation should be made higher than the flood level; or the motor and electrical equipment should be placed in a safe position.
4) The measuring instrument and the like should be placed where it is easy to see during the starting operation.
5) For mine multi-stage pumps, the pump suction port is installed at the upper part of the well screen position to avoid inhalation of sediment.
6) Accurate calculations when deciding on the installation height.
2. Installation basis
In order to absorb vibration and firmly support the pump frame, the foundation of the centrifugal pump should have sufficient strength and size.
2) The weight of the foundation itself: for the type of direct motor connection, it is more than 3 times the total weight of the unit; the type of direct engine connection is more than 5 times the total weight of the unit.
3) In the case of weak foundation, the foundation treatment is carried out with wooden stakes or concrete piles.
4) When the motor and the multi-stage centrifugal pump are directly connected to the transmission, try to use the overall foundation.
5) During the winter icing period, the surface of the foundation is frozen to reduce the bearing capacity. Therefore, the depth of the foundation is deeper than the depth of the frozen soil.
6) When using a two-story panel as a foundation, care should be taken to align the center of the foundation with the center of the beam or to straddle the two beams as close as possible to the walls of the building.
7) Install the pump after the basic concrete is poured for about two weeks.
8) The need for horizontal correction between the pump frame and the foundation concrete, leaving a gap of 10~30 mm. At the same time, the top of the foundation concrete is not smoothed with a trowel, and the unevenness is left as it is.
9) The hole of the anchor bolt is a large enough square hole.
10) After the concrete has completely hardened, tighten the nuts of the anchor bolts.
3. Other:
1) Install the basic plane of the pump to level the level. After the base cement has solidified, check whether the base and anchor bolt holes are loose;
2) After assembling the motor, pump and base, the concentricity of the pump shaft and the motor shaft should be strictly checked to ensure that the two axes are on the same horizontal line;
3) When assembling the motor and multi-stage centrifugal pump, ensure that the axial clearance value of the end faces of the two couplings of the pump and the motor is 3 mm, and the series pumps have no axial movement;
4) The centrifugal pump can only bear its own internal force and cannot withstand any external force. Therefore, the suction line and the extrusion line of the pump should have their own brackets to avoid crushing the pump.
5) For pumps operating under mines containing combustible and explosive gases, explosion-proof motors must be used and required to have the appropriate degree of protection and explosion-proof marking.
