Installation, leveling and pipeline connection of mine water pump

29 Jan 2021Email

In the mine’s water supply and drainage engineering, mine water pumps are widely used. The installation of mine water pumps is very important to the later use of the pumps. Choose the appropriate type of pumps, install them correctly, and analyze their common faults and causes. And finding a way to deal with it is the key to the normal use of mine water pumps.

   1. Selection of mine water pump

The first thing to consider when choosing a mine pump is the water inflow of the mine in which it is located. Choose a suitable displacement pump according to the amount of water inflow. At the same time, it is necessary to comprehensively consider that most of the solid particle slurry is removed by the mine water pump. Therefore, when choosing a water pump, choose a suitable water pump according to the nature of the slurry. When selecting a water pump, it is also necessary to consider whether the pump lift can meet the needs of mine drainage. Combining these factors to select a suitable pump is the prerequisite for the normal use of mine pumps. As the water pump is one of the more energy-consuming machinery on the frame, we also need to consider choosing a water pump with lower energy consumption after meeting the above conditions

   2. The installation location of the mine water pump

Choosing a mine pump usually does not exist as a single device. There are usually multiple pumps working together. Therefore, during the installation of the pump, a suitable platform that can accommodate multiple pumps working at the same time must be selected. This platform must be stable and level. And consider the distance between the pump and the power distribution room to facilitate the connection of the power supply, and also consider the setting of the drainage outlet. As the most important part of the drainage system, the pump undertakes the important function of maintaining the overall safety of the mine, so choose the drainage outlet It is generally to choose two drainage outlets to prevent poor drainage after emergencies.

  3. Leveling of mine water pump

During the installation of the mine water pump, the balance of the water pump is a very critical control point. When the water pump and the power machinery are connected by shafts, ensure that the shaft centers are on the same straight line to prevent vibration during the operation of the unit and cause excessive wear of the bearings. . If the conveyor belt is used to connect, it is necessary to ensure the balance of the two shaft centers and ensure that the force on the shaft centers is consistent.

  4. Pipeline connection of mine water pump

The connection of the mine water pump should try to ensure that the suction pipe and the bottom valve are well sealed, and reduce elbows, joints, and valves. The existence of these factors not only easily affects the drainage effect of the water pump, but also increases the energy consumption of the water pump.
