How to adjust the flow of self-balancing centrifugal pump

The commonly used adjustment methods for the flow of self-balancing centrifugal pumps in the Zoomlian Pump Industry include variable speed adjustment, diameter adjustment, angle adjustment, throttling adjustment, etc

  1. Variable speed adjustment changes the speed of the self-balancing centrifugal pump, which can change the performance of the self-balancing centrifugal pump, thereby changing the working condition of the self-balancing centrifugal pump. This method is called variable speed adjustment.

  2. After turning the variable diameter adjusting impeller, the performance of the self-balancing centrifugal pump will change according to a certain rule, so that the operating point of the self-balancing centrifugal pump will change. We call the method of turning the impeller to change the operating point of the self-balancing centrifugal pump as the variable diameter adjustment.

  3. Variable angle adjustment Changing the installation angle of the blades can change the performance of the self-balancing centrifugal pump, so as to achieve the purpose of changing the operating point of the self-balancing centrifugal pump. This method of changing the working conditions is called the variable angle adjustment of the self-balancing centrifugal pump. 4. Throttle adjustment. For the self-balancing centrifugal pump device with gate valve installed in the outlet pipeline, closing the gate valve for a small amount of time increases the locality in the pipeline. Resistance, the pipeline characteristic curve becomes steep, and its operating point moves to the upper left along the QH curve of the self-balancing centrifugal pump. The smaller the gate valve is closed, the greater the increased resistance and the smaller the flow rate. This method of changing the operating point of a self-balancing centrifugal pump by closing the gate valve is called throttling adjustment or variable valve adjustment.

Close the small gate valve, the local head loss of the pipeline increases, the characteristic curve of the pipeline system moves to the upper left, and the working point of the self-balancing centrifugal pump also moves to the upper left. The smaller the gate valve is closed, the greater the local head loss and the smaller the flow. It can be seen that throttling adjustment not only increases local head loss, but also reduces water output, which is very uneconomical.
