1. Filling with water storage method
Use a large wooden bucket or water tank to store water and place it at the outlet of the coking quenching pump; or when constructing a pool close to the coking quenching pump house, lower the bottom of the pool slightly to form a storage pool . Connect the barrel (or pool) with the water filling hole of the pump body with a water pipe. Before stopping, use the water from the outlet pipe to fill the bucket for later use. The next time the self-balancing multi-stage pump is started, it can be filled with water by itself. This method is filled with water and is simple to use.
2. Use engine exhaust to vacuum and fill water
The muffler of the small engine is removed, and a special exhaust water diversion device is installed. The exhaust gas discharged during the operation of the engine is used, and the water pump starts to suck water. Then close the water-filled vent on the pump body of the self-balancing multi-stage pump, and then lift the handle to open the exhaust gas outlet, and the self-balancing multi-stage pump is transferred to normal operation. This water filling method is only suitable for small-caliber water pumps powered by small gasoline or diesel engines.
3. Water tank diversion method before pump
Install a cylindrical water tank in front of the coke quenching pump. The top of the cabinet is a hemispherical protrusion. The middle section of the cabinet has a suction pipe whose mouth is lower than the height of the cylinder. The outlet at the bottom of the cabinet is connected with the suction pipe of the pump. Before using the water tank for the first time, fill the water tank with water from the water filling port, and then close the water filling port. Start the operation of the self-balancing multi-stage pump, and instantly the water pump will pump out the water in the water tank, the water level will gradually drop, the volume will gradually increase, a vacuum state is formed, and suction occurs, thereby sucking the water from the suction pool into the water tank, and the pump continues Run, the water is pumped out continuously.
