Fire fighting pump
The fire fighting pump is a special pump used to transport liquid fire extinguishing agents such as water or foam solutions, installed in fire engines, fixed fire extinguishing systems or other fire-fighting facilities.
According to different classification methods, it is divided into different types with its characteristics of full sealing, no leakage and corrosion resistance. It is widely used in environmental protection, water treatment, fire protection and other departments.
It is used to pump all kinds of liquids, creating leak-free and pollution-free. Ideal for civilized workshops and civilized factories with pumps and fire protection systems. The pump types are similar, except that the head and flow are different. The selection criteria of the fire pump should be considered in five aspects according to the process flow, water supply and drainage requirements.
The fire pump room is a key part of providing fire water, and it is an important part directly related to property safety. To manage the fire pump room, the following points should be achieved:
1. All mechanical and electrical equipment in pump room, underground water pool and fire protection system are monitored by equipment and firefighters, and regular inspection, maintenance, cleaning and cleaning are carried out and recorded. Problems that cannot be solved are reported to the rectification in a timely manner.
2. The electromechanical equipment in the pump room is the responsibility of the equipment and firefighters. Other personnel have to operate, and unrelated personnel are not allowed to enter the pump room.
3. When all equipment in the pump room is in normal operation, the switch should be set in the automatic position, and all operation signs are simple and clear.
4. The fire pump and spray pump are inspected daily, and an “automatic and manual” operation check is carried out, and a comprehensive maintenance is carried out every quarter.
5. The pump room control loop power supply should be checked monthly to check whether the standby pump can run automatically in the event of a host failure.
6. Sewage pools are often cleaned, and pumps and pipes are often maintained.
