Feeler

16 Sep 2018Email

The feeler is made of thin steel sheet and consists of a group of gauge sheets (rulers) of different thickness.

It is mainly used to check the gap between two bonding surfaces, so it is also called "feeler gauge" or "sewing gauge".

Each ruler is marked with its thickness in millimeters.

The feeler has two parallel measuring planes, the length of which is made into 50, 100 or 200 mm, and the thickness of the feeler is 0.03~0.1 mm, and the middle piece is 0.01 mm apart.

If the thickness is 0.1~1 mm, the middle pieces are 0.05 mm apart.
