The full name of effective power is called the effective power of the engine.

It is also called shaft power. Its refers to the net output power from a motor shaft.

The effective output power of an engine after deducting its own mechanical friction losses and external losses that drive other auxiliary engines.

The ratio of the output of an engine at a given speed to the maximum possible output at the same speed.
