Effect of electric air control valve on self-priming pump

The electric air control valve (referred to as the solenoid valve) is specially designed for non-sealed self-priming pump. It is one of the important components of the self-priming pump.


The effect of the solenoid valve:


As one of the components of the self-priming pump, the electric valve is installed on the intake pipe of the suction port. When the pump is started, the electric control valve closes the air inlet on the suction pipe of the pump body to form a vacuum in the pump cavity of the self-priming pump. Self-priming process. When the pump is stopped, the electric control valve is opened, and the air enters the pump liquid pipe from the closed port to quickly isolate the co-flowing medium in the pipette, ensuring that the medium of the pump cavity does not fall back into the liquid absorption tank with the medium in the pipette cavity, so as to eliminate the siphon. The purpose is to ensure that the self-priming pump is normally self-priming and running when it is self-priming.


The working principle of the solenoid valve:


The solenoid valve wiring is connected in parallel with the pump motor power supply (any two lines of three-phase three-wire 380V power supply, the voltage is 380V). When the self-priming pump motor starts, the solenoid valve is simultaneously energized and activated, and the electromagnet core pulls the armature to move the elastic frame downward. The driving spool piston rod is pressed against the bottom sealing gasket of the piston cylinder body to achieve sealing, and the air inlet vent hole on the liquid suction pipe is closed, so that the self-priming pump starts to self-prime and enters a normal running state.

When the power is cut off, the motor is powered off, the electromagnetic coil of the solenoid valve is powered off at the same time, the magnetic force of the electromagnet core disappears, and the elastic frame is reset by the reaction of the compression spring, and the piston of the valve core rod is moved away from the bottom of the piston cylinder to open the vent hole. The air is allowed to enter the pipette cavity, so that the medium in the pump cavity is isolated from the medium in the pipette, the siphon is eliminated, and the medium storage capacity of the pump chamber of the self-priming pump is ensured for self-priming and normal operation when the pump is next started.
