  Boiler feed pump dg type multistage centrifugal pump mechanical seal is a universal shaft seal type for rotating machinery. Mechanical seals are mainly used for the sealing of various media such as gases and liquids, such as pumps, reactors, etc.; they are also used for gas sealing, such as the sealing of compressor media shafts.

   Mechanical seal has widely replaced the gland soft packing seal because of its low leakage and no routine maintenance.

1) Generally, the mechanical seals or bearings need to be cooled down. There are external tap water or cooling water jackets, and some pumps use internal circulation cooling systems. Different pump structures and materials have different cooling requirements. No need to cool, rinse.

 

  2) Heat exchange, that is, using a heat exchange device to exchange cold or hot circulating water and materials that need to be cooled or raised through a heat transfer medium, and both cold and hot water can be recycled.

 

  3) Washing, using the fluidity and solubility of water to purify the processed material. It is required that the purified material is water-immiscible, and can settle quickly, and the impurities in the purified material are water-soluble, and the washing water can be reused until it is saturated.

When the sealing water passes through the seal, the water forms a water film between the shaft and the seal to prevent the gap between the shaft and the seal from leaking out, causing a large amount of working fluid loss; at the same time, the high temperature feed water will pass through the pump shaft and The metal of the pump body transfers heat to the bearing to increase the temperature of the bearing. In severe cases, the bearing will be burnt; the gap between the high-speed rotating shaft and the seal is very small. When the sealing water is lost, the water film here is also destroyed, and the shaft and the seal are likely to be rubbed. The vibration of the water pump increases, which will cause equipment damage in severe cases. The return water of the sealing water is generally introduced into the condenser with a multi-stage water sealing pipe.

 

  2. The principle of dg type multi-stage centrifugal pump mechanical seal cooling water:

 

  Using circulating softened water to take away the frictional heat generated by the relative rotation of the moving and static rings, reducing the use temperature and extending the use period. In order to reduce this temperature, some occasions can also use flushing (such as self-flushing) mechanical seal method.
