Centrifugal pump model meaning

There are many types of centrifugal pumps, and the meaning of various types of centrifugal pumps is different, but there are certain rules. Most of them are named according to the first letter of Chinese pinyin (except for special ones) according to different types of centrifugal pumps. Let's take an example to explain the meaning and significance of the specific performance of the centrifugal pump model.

 

A. Meaning of single-stage centrifugal pump model:

IS, ISY, ISR, IH, IR, IHF (I: Alabai number is 1, here means "single-stage single suction"; Y is the abbreviation of oil, R is the abbreviation of hot word; H is the abbreviation of chemical word )

For example: IS, ISY, ISR, IH, IHF, IR100-65J-250B

IS: means single-stage single-suction centrifugal clean water pump, ≦80℃, cast iron material, packing seal;

ISY: indicates that the single-stage single-suction centrifugal oil pump (≦100℃) is made of cast iron, with mechanical seal;

ISR: indicates that the single-stage single-suction centrifugal hot water pump (≦100℃) is made of cast iron, with mechanical seal;

IR: indicates that the single-stage single-suction centrifugal hot water pump (≦120℃) is made of cast iron, mechanical seal, and cooling water is required;

IH: indicates that the single-stage single-suction corrosion-resistant chemical centrifugal pump (≦120℃) is made of stainless steel (304, 316, 316L, 2205), mechanical seal, and cooling water is required;

IHF: It means single-stage single-suction corrosion-resistant chemical centrifugal pump (≦120℃), pump casing material: cast iron, lined with fluorine plastic (F46), suitable for strong acid and alkali media.

The first set of numbers: indicates the diameter of the suction port of the pump, DN100mm;

The second set of numbers: indicates the diameter of the outlet of the water pump, DN65mm;

The third set of numbers: indicates the reputation diameter of the pump impeller, ф=250mm;

Emphasis on J: means the pump is used at reduced speed. The standard speed of the same model is 2980r/min, and the speed after speed reduction is 1450r/min; after deceleration, its flow, head, and supporting power will all change; for example: IR100-65-250 Type pump, when the standard speed is Q=100m3/H, H=80m, the matching power is level 2 37kw (2980r/min); after speed reduction (1450r/min), Q=50m3/H, H=20m, The power is 5.5kw at level 4; the rule is: after the pump speeds down, the flow rate is one-half of the original, the head is one-quarter of the original, and the power is one-eighth of the original. This rule can also be applied to other similar working conditions. For example: the customer requires a multi-stage pump: Q=42 m3/h, head 130 meters, power must be equipped with a 4-stage motor, in the normal model, so There is no 4-level motor for small flow and head; we use MD85-67X8 pump according to the law of pump speed reduction, everyone see: 85/2=42.5m/H, the rated head is 536 meters, after the speed is reduced, 134 meters, just in line with customer requirements; MD85-67X8's standard matching power is 220kw/class 2, changed to a class 4 motor, afterwards, 220KW/8=27.5KW, the actual configuration is 4-30kw.

A.B.C.D: The impeller of the water pump is cut in 1.2.3.4.... times on the basis of the standard model. The purpose is to meet the different needs of customers and adjust the performance parameters of the pump by changing the diameter of the impeller.

 

B. Model meaning of single-stage double-suction center-open centrifugal pump:

S, SA, SAP SH (S is the abbreviation of double-character): These types of center-open pumps are single-stage double-suction center-open centrifugal pumps. SA and SAP SH pumps are derived from S-type pumps. The appearance is roughly the same, because the production area is different, the expression method and performance parameters are slightly different.

Example 1: 250S39A

The first set of numbers: indicates the diameter of the suction port of the pump, DN250mm;

The second set of numbers: indicates that the rated head of the pump is 39 meters;

The impeller of the A.B.C.D water pump is cut in 1.2.3.4.... times on the basis of the standard model. The purpose is to meet the different needs of customers and adjust the performance parameters of the pump by changing the diameter of the impeller.

Example 2: 24SA-18JB

The first set of numbers: indicates that the diameter of the suction port of the water pump is divisible by 25, and the unit is inch (1 inch = 25mm). This model means that the suction port of the water pump is 24 inches (ie 600mm);

The second set of numbers: the ratio of the number of revolutions divided by 10 and rounded up;

J: Indicates the change of rated speed

The impeller of the A.B.C.D water pump is cut in 1.2.3.4.... times on the basis of the standard model. The purpose is to meet the different needs of customers and adjust the performance parameters of the pump by changing the diameter of the impeller.

Example 3: 10SH-13

The first set of numbers: indicates that the diameter of the suction port of the pump is divisible by 25, and the unit is inch (1 inch=25mm). This model means that the suction port of the pump is 10 inches (ie 250mm);

The second set of numbers: the ratio of the number of revolutions divided by 10 and rounded;

 

C. Model meaning of single-suction multi-stage segmental centrifugal pump:

D MD DF DY46-50x9 (P)

1. D (P): multi-character abbreviation, indicating a multi-stage centrifugal clean water pump, the default is cast iron material, packing seal;

2. MD (P): stands for wear-resistant multi-stage pump, M is the abbreviation of the word grinding, MD also means a wear-resistant multi-stage pump for mining; the default is nodular cast iron material, packing seal, 2cr13 material can also be used;

3. DF (P): stands for corrosion-resistant multi-stage pumps, F is the abbreviation for corrosion, and the default is stainless steel, such as 304, 316, 316L or higher.

The sealing method can be packing seal or mechanical seal;

4. DY (P): indicates a multi-stage oil pump, the material is uncertain, the default is mechanical seal

Note: If the conveying medium is oil, it must be a mechanical seal.

5. The first set of numbers: indicates the flow rate (45m3/H);

6. The second set of numbers: indicates a single-stage head (the first-stage impeller increases by 50 meters);

7. The third set of numbers: indicates the number of stages (the number of impellers) that the pump has 9 impellers;

8. (P): indicates the self-balancing multi-stage pump (other representation methods and performance parameters are basically the same as the old multi-stage pump); the model of our self-balancing multi-stage pump is basically the same as the old multi-stage pump, as long as it is added at the end One (P) represents a self-balancing multi-stage pump.

The law of multi-stage pumps:

(1) Flow rate and head in the multi-stage pump model: The flow rate of the multi-stage pump depends on the first stage impeller. How much the first stage impeller sucks, then the flow rate of this pump is what, no matter how many stages there are, they only play For pressurization, no matter how many steps are added, the flow rate will not change, and the head will increase with the increase of the number of steps.

(2) Judgment of the number of stages: The number of stages of different models can be judged from the appearance. If there is no sign, it can be judged from the number of the middle section. The number of the middle section plus one is the number of stages of the pump (the inlet section is also one Stage, there is an impeller in the inlet section); self-balancing multi-stage pump is the number of middle sections plus two (there is no impeller in the inlet section, there are two impellers in the outlet section, one for the positive and negative);

(3) The caliber and measurement unit of the multi-stage pump: most of the inlet and outlet sections have the same caliber, with mm as the unit; the inlet and outlet diameters of individual models are different;

(4) The inlet and outlet of the DG type boiler feed water pump are vertically upward. The DG type pump can replace the D, MD, DF, and DY type pumps, but the D, MD, DF, and DY type cannot replace the DG type pump;

(5) The old-fashioned multi-stage pumps of D, MD, DF, and DY are all drawn in horizontally and discharged vertically at the tail end.

(6) D, MD, DF, DY (P) self-balancing multi-stage pumps are all horizontal suction and vertical discharge in the middle.

 

D. Meaning of sewage pump model:

QW (submersible sewage pump),

YW (Underwater sewage pump),

ZW (Self-priming sewage pump) 100-100-30-15

The first set of numbers: indicates the diameter of the suction port of the pump, DN100mm;

The second set of numbers: indicates the flow rate, 100m3/h

The third set of numbers: represents the head, H=30 meters,

The fourth group of numbers: motor power, 15kw

 

E. Model meaning of vertical pipeline centrifugal pump (booster pump):

ISG, IRG, YG, IHG, IHGB100-160 and IHGB100-160(I)B pipeline centrifugal pumps

1. ISG means single-stage single-suction pipeline centrifugal clean water pump≦800℃, cast iron material, mechanical seal

2. IRG (hot water pipeline pump≦100℃); cast iron material, high temperature resistant mechanical seal

3. IHG (chemical pipeline pump with ordinary motor), stainless steel material, mechanical seal

4. IHGB: chemical pipeline pump, stainless steel material, mechanical seal, with explosion-proof motor

5. YG (pipeline oil pump, cast iron material, mechanical seal, with explosion-proof motor),

6. The first set of numbers: indicates the oral menstruation (same import and export), unit: mm;

7. The second set of numbers: indicates the diameter of the impeller, unit: mm;

8. (I): The model without (I) is the standard model, with (I) means to expand the flow, referred to as "expansion flow"; the flow after expansion is doubled, the head remains unchanged, and the supporting power increases;

9.A.B.C: The impeller of the water pump is cut in 1.2.3.4.... times on the basis of the standard model. The purpose is to meet the different needs of customers and adjust the performance parameters of the pump by changing the diameter of the impeller.

 

F. Model meaning of horizontal pipeline centrifugal pump:

ISW, IHW, IHWB, the performance parameters of this series of pumps are the same as those of vertical pipeline pumps, and the expression methods are the same. The main difference is horizontal installation, with a base, axial suction, and vertical upward discharge; no further details.


G. Meaning of other miscellaneous pump models:

1. Vertical axial flow pump: 20ZLB-3.8

The first set of numbers means that the diameter of the outlet is 20 inches, ZLB means "axial flow pump", and the second set of numbers means head;

2. Mixed flow pump: 250HW-8

The first set of numbers indicates that the diameter of the water outlet is 250mm inches, and HW means "mixed flow pump",

The second set of numbers represents the head;

3. Fire pump: XBD9.0/5-50L (W)

XBD stands for fire pump, the first set of numbers: stands for pressure, in kg;

The second set of numbers: flow, unit: L/S

The third set of numbers: caliber, unit: mm

L: vertical installation W: horizontal installation

4. Sealless self-control self-priming pump (vertical self-priming pump):

50WFB-A (B, C) 50 means imported caliber; WFB: vertical self-priming pump

A: A-level working conditions can meet continuous operation, and flow, lift, and suction can meet the requirements;

B: Class B working condition, can meet continuous operation, flow, lift, and suction can only meet two items;

C: C-level working conditions, interval operation, flow, lift, and suction can only meet one of them;

5. (1) Vertical mud pump (heavy duty): 4PNL (suitable for conveying mud with a concentration below 40%), 4: outlet diameter is 4 inches (100mm), PNL: stands for vertical mud pump

6. (2) Vertical mud pump (light type): NL50-8 (suitable for conveying sewage with a small amount of mud)

The first set of numbers: outlet diameter, unit: mm, the second set of numbers: head

7. High temperature resistant oil pump: 50AY60 (temperature resistant 120-400℃)

The first set of numbers: suction caliber, unit: mm, the second set of numbers: head
