CDL/CDLF vertical centrifugal stainless steel light multi-stage pump mechanical seal replacement step diagram
CDL/CDLF vertical centrifugal stainless steel light multi-stage pump is a multi-functional product, which can transport a variety of different media from tap water to industrial liquids. It is suitable for different temperature, flow and pressure ranges. CDL is suitable for non-corrosive liquids. CDLF The stainless steel light multi-stage pump is suitable for mildly corrosive liquids. It adopts a new type of sealing technology to easily dismantle the stainless steel casing mechanical seal. Compared with the old mechanical seal, this type of mechanical seal has a longer service life and is more installation and maintenance. The advantage of simplicity. The following introduces the disassembly and assembly method of the mechanical seal of this series of products. The replacement steps of the mechanical seal of the CDL/CDLF vertical centrifugal stainless steel light multi-stage pump are as follows:
1. For a motor with a lower power, first remove the motor and coupling so that there is enough space for operation. Some motors with higher power can have enough space without taking them out. Figure 1 and Figure 2
Figure 1 (Pumps with low-power motors must first take out the motor)
Figure 2 (The high-power single machine does not have to be taken out and there is enough operating space)
2. After removing the motor, start to loosen the moving ring part of the mechanical seal. Please prepare a hexagon socket screwdriver and a flat-blade screwdriver before operation. As shown in Figure 3
Figure 3, remove the machine sealing ring
3. Loosen the mechanical seal moving ring screw (do not need to take out), take out the moving ring, and then start to loosen the mechanical seal static ring lock nut. Please prepare a large enough socket or fork wrench before operation. As shown in Figure 4
Figure 4, disassemble the screw of the mechanical seal
4. After loosening the static ring lock nut, take out the static ring part of the mechanical seal. Please pay attention to check whether the ceramic contact surface in the static ring is damaged. If there is any damage, check the location of the moving ring for impurities, etc., and it must be cleaned. Only install a new mechanical seal, otherwise it may damage the mechanical seal or leak water. As shown in Figure 5
Figure 5, take out the machine seal
5. After repositioning the mechanical seal, follow steps 4, 3, and 2 respectively to fix the mechanical seal. After fixing the moving ring, first install the motor, and then fix the coupling. Before fixing the coupling, please remember to lift the shaft a certain distance with the provided mechanical seal gasket, otherwise the rotation will not be flexible and stable. As shown in Figure 6
Figure 6, at the position indicated by the arrow, use a mechanical seal gasket to raise the static ring to a certain position (usually 1-2mm), the purpose is to make the shaft in a suspended state for flexible rotation. If you don’t have a gasket, you can use other 1-2mm gaskets to evenly pad both sides.
