Boiler feed pump disassembly and assembly

17 Jun 2019Email

Boiler feed pump removal steps:

       1. The boiler feed water pump is separated from the motor, and the medium is drained (to prevent the motor and toxic medium from injuring people);

       2. Disassemble the boiler pump discharge body;

       3. Disassemble the boiler pump stator, if necessary, according to the pump shaft steering shaft to assist;

       4. Disassemble the rotor and the intermediate shaft;

       5. Disassemble the drive shaft and shaft seal;

       6. Take out the boiler pump bearing and positioning sleeve and take it out from the bearing housing;

       7. The boiler pump that has not been used for a long time should be treated with anti-rust. The method is to apply non-painted metal surface with anti-rust grease, including the shaft surface, the inner cavity of the packing shell, etc., and lubricate.

When assembling boiler feed pumps, note the following:

       1. The boiler pump parts should be carefully cleaned and inspected during assembly, and the damaged parts should be replaced;

       2. The correctly installed bearing makes the shaft rotate flexibly and without jamming.

       3. Shaft seal installation: When installing the stuffing box, the packing gland pressing bolt should be placed in the housing installation window to facilitate the wrench to adjust the bolt;

       4, mechanical seal installation should be careful, the friction end face should be cleaned and coated with grease;

       5. When assembling the 20,000-way joint of the drive shaft, check whether the seal ring is damaged or not, and fill the cavity with grease;

       6. When installing the stator, apply lubricant to the surface of the rotor and stator cavity to facilitate stator installation;

       7. When the body pressure is tightened, the nut should be tightened evenly;

       8. When installing and assembling, the coupling installation deviation: △Y≤0.2mm, △α≤30'.
