Balance Ring

The balance ring is a component that balances the axial force of the multistage pump. During the operation of the pump, an axial force acts on the rotor. In the production practice, the balance hole, the balance drum, the balance disc (used with the balance ring) or the symmetrical arrangement of the impellers are used to balance the axial force.

In the balance system of the balance disc structure, it mainly consists of a balance sleeve, a balance ring, a balance disc and a balance tube. Most horizontal multistage pumps use this construction. The advantage is that the volume loss is lower than other balancing modes, that is, the efficiency is high, and the disadvantage is that it is easy to wear.
