11 operating modes prohibited by multi-stage pumps

11 Prohibited Operation Modes of Multistage Pump, Horizontal Multistage Pump, Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Pump Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury to people.

The occurrence of overload must be avoided, because the serious mechanical damage caused by overload will lead to the damage of multi-stage pump and multi-stage centrifugal pump parts. If the multistage pump is operated beyond its own performance range, overload phenomena will occur, such as:

 

1. Exceeds the maximum allowable speed of the motor power of the multi-stage pump

2. Exceeded maximum allowable inlet pressure

3. Exceeded maximum allowable temperature

4. Over or under the operating range of the multistage pump

5. Operates without purging the pump body of the multistage pump

6. Operates without necessary safety equipment (safety valve, overload protection, etc.)

7. Running the multistage pump with the shut-off valve on the outlet line closed and without the minimum flow device (except at start-up)

8. Operation with closed inlet valve (dry operation)

9. Operates when the material of the multistage pump is not suitable for the conveyed medium

10. Running in the wrong turn

11. Operation with incorrect bearing lubrication or lubricant

 

The above operation methods and other incorrect operation methods will cause great damage to the horizontal multi-stage pump and other equipment. Debris or hot, corrosive and toxic media caused by the explosion of pressure-containing parts will cause significant harm to people or the environment, and once these hazards occur, they will be fatal.
