Working principle and structural characteristics of wear-resistant and acid-resistant pumps

1 Working principle of wear-resistant and acid-resistant pump

When the wear-resistant and acid-resistant pump is a multi-stage pump structure, the structure is similar to connecting multiple single-stage centrifugal pumps one by one in series, and the process medium is pressurized step by step through each impeller, so that the medium at the outlet of the final impeller is much higher than the inlet medium pressure. Although the reason is simple, it is the core principle of multi-stage pump, and its daily operation, fault diagnosis, maintenance and repair are of important guiding significance.

   2 Wear-resistant and acid-resistant pump structure characteristics

The usual structure has volute type multi-stage pump and multi-stage type. Volute type multi-stage pumps usually use a mid-open structure to facilitate maintenance and facilitate the symmetrical arrangement of the impeller and the axial force acting on the rotor. But this kind of structure has poor manufacturability: the more stages, the more complex the shape of the pump body and the tie cover; the larger the size of the pump, it is necessary to configure some inter-stage flow channels between stages to compare the appearance of the pump complex. For example, when the number of stages is large and the head is high, the difficulty of sealing each part will increase.

Based on these factors, the wide application of this structure is subject to certain restrictions. The structural features of the segmented multi-stage pump are compact, which is beneficial to improve standardization and generalization. The poor head of this structure depends on the number of stages of the pump, so the head range of this multi-stage pump model is wider.
