The relationship between flow and pressure head of stainless steel feed water pump

The pump can transport the medium liquid with low terrain to the place with high terrain. Theoretically, it has no direct relationship with the density of the medium, but with the pump itself. The reason why the pump can transport the medium liquid with low terrain to the place with high terrain is usually related to Water pump flow and head parameters are related, while positive displacement pumps are just the opposite. The water pump itself can only determine the pressure head at the outlet of the pump. The height of the medium that can actually satisfy the user is directly related to the density of the medium and other parameters. Therefore, compared with positive displacement pumps, the inlet and outlet pressure heads of stainless steel feedwater pumps express pump parameters.

  The relationship between flow rate and pressure head of stainless steel feed water pump:

  In fact, the pressure head of the stainless steel feedwater pump has the following relationship with the lift, namely:

   formula: P=pgH;

   where P: head difference (in Pa) p specific gravity of liquid (in kg/m3);

  G: gravitational acceleration, usually 9, 8m/s2H pump head (unit is m);

 

 

From the above we can know that as long as the specific gravity of the medium liquid and the pump head parameters are known, the pressure head of the water pump can be calculated. On the contrary, as long as the pressure head of the inlet and outlet of the water pump and the specific gravity of the liquid are known, the satisfactory height of the medium liquid can be calculated. Compared with the liquid with the same specific gravity as water, it can be roughly calculated that the head difference of 1MP is equal to the pump head of 100m.
