The influence of corrosion and wear on the FGD desulfurization device of the desulfurization and denitration pump in thermal power plants:

Corrosion and wear parts:

Desulfurization and Denitration Pump


Parts prone to corrosion: absorption tower, clean flue and inlet flue of absorption tower

Parts prone to wear: absorption tower, slurry pipeline, pump casing and impeller

Causes of corrosion and wear

Corrosion reasons: the presence of chloride ions and sulfate (sub) ions starts from the weak point of the anti-corrosion layer and slowly corrodes; low-temperature corrosion and electrochemical corrosion.

Reasons for wear: excessive dust and SiO 2 content

Of course, corrosion and wear are mutual. After corrosion, there is wear; after wear, there is corrosion.

 

Measures taken to prevent corrosion of FGD desulfurization device of desulfurization and denitration pump in thermal power plant:

Glass resin flakes for corrosion protection

Rubber lining for corrosion protection

Corrosion-resistant alloy material (C276 or 1.4529)

Non-metallic FRP material for corrosion protection
