The air trap is mainly due to the fact that the centrifugal pump is not filled with liquid before starting. There is air in the pump casing. The air density is small and the centrifugal force generated is also small. At this time, the vacuum formed at the suction port is not enough to suck the liquid into the pump. The phenomenon that the pump cannot deliver liquid after being pneumatically operated.
Cause Analysis:
① Before starting, the pump was not vented, causing air to flow into the pump casing.
②The housing is not tightly sealed, causing air to escape.
Approach:
① Before starting the pump, priming the pump to remove the air accumulated in the pump casing.
② Clean the filter regularly.
③Do a good job of sealing the shell.
