  Pickling pump is a series of fluoroplastic synthetic corrosion-resistant chemical pumps designed according to the requirements of users in the chemical industry. Pickling, that is, the application of an acid solution to remove oxide scale and rust on the surface of steel, is a way to clean the surface of metal. Acids for pickling include sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, chromic acid, hydrofluoric acid and mixed acids. The pickling liquid in the pickling process is generally a mixture of various acids, mainly sulfuric acid, nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid, etc. These mixed acids are very corrosive, and at the same time have strong oxidizing properties and high corrosive medium temperature , Which puts forward high requirements on the corrosion resistance of anti-corrosion materials. The process of stainless steel pickling production line, from production to waste water and waste gas recovery system, has a strong corrosive state in all links, so the choice of anti-corrosion materials is directly related to the equipment.

 

Iron oxide scale or other impurities are produced during the pickling process, resulting in a certain amount of particles in the pickling solution, with different particle sizes. The pH value of the wastewater generated during pickling treatment is generally below 1.5 (free acid 0.5-2%) It is strongly acidic, which requires the pump to be acid resistant and wear resistant.

 

It can be seen that there are many different types of acid for pickling, and there are also many corrosion-resistant pumps, such as stainless steel pumps, PP hope material pumps, etc. Although these pumps also have a certain corrosion resistance function, there are individual acid solutions. It will react with these pumps and cause corrosion, making it impossible to use one pump for multiple purposes.

 

  The selection of corrosion-resistant pickling pump should consider the following aspects

There are many types of pickling pumps, such as acid-resistant magnetic pumps, self-priming pumps, vertical pumps, chemical pumps, etc. The pickling tank is circulated, and pickling magnetic pumps and vertical pickling pumps are selected. Type pumps or chemical pumps, depending on the on-site installation method and the compliance of technical parameters.

 

  3, the conveying medium and temperature conditions, determine the material used, if it is a general acid-base liquid, the temperature is not high, use PP material, if it is a strong acid-base medium, or high temperature, use PνDF material (engineering plastic material).
