Overview of water ring vacuum pumps

Water ring vacuum pump (abbreviated as water ring pump) is a kind of rough vacuum pump, which can obtain the ultimate vacuum of 2000~4000Pa, and the series air ejector can reach 270~670Pa. The water ring pump can also be used as a compressor, called a water ring compressor, which is a low-pressure compressor with a pressure range of 1~2×105Pa gauge pressure.

A. Insufficient vacuum pump degree. Possible reasons: insufficient power supply of the motor leads to insufficient speed; insufficient water supply; excessive gap between the impeller and the distribution plate; damage to the mechanical seal causes water leakage; excessive wear of the impeller; circulating water cannot be discharged. Remedy: Check whether the power supply voltage is within the rated voltage range of the motor; increase the water supply (must be controlled within the correct range, otherwise it will cause the motor to overload and heat); adjust the gap between the impeller and the distribution plate (usually 0.15-0.20 mm); Replace the mechanical seal; replace the impeller; check the water outlet pipeline.

B. Can't start or start noise is loud. Possible reasons: motor power supply voltage is insufficient; motor runs out of phase; pump is not used for a long time and causes corrosion; pump sucks debris; impeller drags the distribution board. Remedy: Check whether the power supply voltage is too low; check whether the motor wiring is secure; if the pump is not used for a long time and cause rust, you can add some rust remover or open the pump cover to remove the rust manually; open the pump cover to remove debris; adjust the impeller The distance to the distribution board.

C. The motor is overheated. Possible reasons: excessive water supply causes the motor to overload; the motor lacks phase; the exhaust hole is blocked; the impeller drags other parts. Remedy: reduce the water supply to the normal range (refer to the liquid supply of the pump manual); check whether the wiring is firm; check the exhaust port; open the pump cover to adjust the gap between the impeller and other parts. 4. Insufficient flow. Possible reasons: air leakage in the pipeline; increased resistance loss; troubleshooting: check the mechanical seal at the connection; check whether the pipeline and check valve are faulty.

(1) In normal work, pay attention to check the working and lubrication of the bearing. The temperature (bearing and outer circle) is generally 15℃~20℃ higher than the ambient temperature, and the highest is not allowed to exceed 30℃~35℃ , That is, the actual temperature at the outer circle of the bearing frame should not exceed 55℃~60℃; the bearing in normal operation should be oiled 3 to 4 times a year, the bearing should be cleaned at least once a year, and all the lubricant should be replaced.
(2) Packing should be compressed regularly during normal work. If the packing cannot guarantee the required sealing performance due to wear, new packing should be replaced. If a mechanical seal is used and leakage is found, check whether the dynamic and static rings of the mechanical seal are damaged or the auxiliary seal is aging. If the above conditions occur, new parts need to be replaced.
(3) When there is a special sound, you can remove the pressure plates on both ends of the cover to check whether the two ends of the impeller are scratched with the distributor, and check whether the exhaust valve plate is normal. Before disassembly, the water in the pump cavity should be discharged. The gas-water separator and suction pipe parts should be removed. During the disassembly process, all the gaskets should be carefully removed. If damaged, replace the same. The gasket.

The pump should be disassembled from the rear end (end without coupling or pulley), the sequence is as follows:
(1) After removing the bearing gland, use a hook wrench to loosen the two round nuts, and remove the bearing housing and bearing;
(2) Loosen the packing gland nut and remove the packing gland;
(3) After removing the hexagonal bolts connecting the pump cover and the pump body and the bolts at the foot of the pump cover, remove the back end cover;
(4) Remove the pump body;
(5) Loosen the foot bolt at the other end;
(6) Remove the coupling and remove the key on the shaft;
(7) Remove the front bearing parts;
(8) After removing the front cover, take out the shaft and impeller together. After disassembly, the relevant mating surfaces of the parts should be coated with oil, and the threads should also be coated with oil for protection. Assembly Before assembly, all parts should be cleaned. The residual surface of the paper pad on the joint surface should be cleaned. The bearing should be cleaned and coated with new oil. The old oil in the bearing housing should also be removed.
The order of assembly is opposite to that of disassembly. The key link is to adjust the gap between the end face of the impeller and the front and rear distributors. For this reason, the length of the pump body (including the depth of the positioning hole) and the length of the impeller must be measured to determine the addition of cushions. thickness of.
