Analysis of characteristics of long shaft pump

1. The long axis pump has the advantages of high efficiency, wide area, high head, wide spectrum coverage, flat head curve, no overload on power curve, long length below the foundation, etc. It is used to transport clear water, river water, rainwater, and water below 80°C. Sea water, sewage containing certain solid particles (such as iron oxide scale, sand, coal powder, etc.), and corrosive industrial wastewater.

The hydraulic design software is optimized and designed with superior performance, and fully considers the abrasion resistance of the impeller and guide vanes, which greatly increases the life of the impeller and other wearing parts; the long-axis pump runs smoothly, is safe and reliable, and saves energy. The inlet of the water pump is equipped with a filter screen and the size of the opening is appropriate, which not only effectively prevents large particles of impurities from entering the pump to damage the water pump, but also reduces the loss of the inlet and improves the efficiency of the water pump.

4. The impeller of the long axis pump adopts a balance hole to balance the axial force. The front and rear cover plates of the impeller are equipped with replaceable sealing rings to protect the impeller and pump body. The pump intermediate shaft, pumping pipe and protective pipe are multi-sections, and the intermediate shaft connection adopts sleeve coupling technology; the number of pumping pipes can be increased or decreased according to user needs to adapt to different submerged depths. The impeller and guide vane body are multi-stage, adapting to different head requirements. The water pump lift pipe is connected by a flange with a guide bearing in the middle. The guide bearing of the water pump adopts reinforced filled PTFE, Jinlong bearing or Sailong bearing, and the shaft is protected by a protective tube. When sewage is transported, the guide bearing must be externally cooled and lubricated.

5. The residual axial force of the long-axis pump and the weight of the rotor components are borne by the thrust bearing in the motor seat or the motor with thrust bearing. The thrust bearing is lubricated with thin oil and is cooled by external water. The thrust bearing can be embedded with temperature control components. The shaft seal of the pump is a packing seal, and replaceable shaft sleeves are installed at the shaft seal and guide bearing to protect the shaft. The axial position of the impeller is adjusted by the upper end of the bearing component or the adjustment nut in the pump coupling, which is very convenient.

6. The long axis pump can be equipped with a control cabinet, which has multiple functions such as automatic start and stop according to the liquid level, overload alarm and real-time remote monitoring, and can realize multi-pump networking and remote centralized control.
