   In the chemical production process, lye is mostly liquid substances, from raw materials to semi-finished products and finished products. Although chemical products are liquid substances, most of them are flammable, explosive and highly corrosive hazardous substances. Therefore, unlike ordinary pumps, chemical corrosion-resistant alkali pumps have higher requirements for their safety and will not leak. In the production process, it is necessary to avoid pollution to the human body and the environment caused by equipment problems. Only the chemical pump with high safety and good sealing performance can realize pollution-free production. Acid-base corrosion-resistant chemical pumps have different classifications according to different needs, and their working principles are also different. They are mainly divided into centrifugal chemical pumps, reciprocating chemical pumps and vortex chemical pumps.

   One, chemical centrifugal pump

 

   Chemical plants use centrifugal chemical pumps more than 70%. According to its structure, centrifugal pumps can be divided into cantilever type, two-end support type and vertical suspension type. According to its conveying medium, it can be divided into acid pump, alkali pump, fresh water pump, mud pump, etc.

 

  The objects to be conveyed are different, and the pumps used are also different. Because different media have different characteristics, temperature, pressure, and flow rate are different, so they need to be treated separately. There are many factors that cause the centrifugal pump to have vibration and noise when in use, so it is necessary to take preventive measures against these undesirable factors. The centrifugal pump has the characteristics of simple structure, easy operation, and low maintenance cost. It is suitable for many and wide applications. The discharged liquid flow does not move. However, it also has drawbacks. It is not suitable for some high-viscosity liquids and high-lift occasions. .

 

   2. Reciprocating chemical pump

 

   Reciprocating chemical pump is a positive displacement chemical pump, which is widely used in chemical production. The principle of its function is to rely on the internal piston to continuously reciprocate and then to continuously open the suction valve and the discharge valve to achieve the effect of inhaling and discharging liquid. The flow rate of the reciprocating pump is based on the internal volume of the pump and the operating frequency of the piston. It has nothing to do with the head of the pump. The double pump cannot simply use the discharge line valve to adjust the flow, and generally uses a loop adjustment device. Compared with centrifugal pumps, it makes up for the shortcomings of centrifugal pumps that are not suitable for high-viscosity liquids, but cannot transport corrosive liquids and liquids containing solid suspensions.

 

   Three, whirlpool chemical pump

 

   Vortex chemical pump is also called vortex chemical pump and regeneration chemical pump. It is a low-flow, high-lift vane pump with low specific speed and low efficiency of the vortex pump, usually 20% to 50%, which limits its application range. Generally, the vortex pump has the advantages of simple structure, compactness, small size, light weight, and low cost. Therefore, the vortex pump is used when the liquid volume is small. The pump casing of the vortex pump is round, and the suction port and the discharge port are on the top of the pump casing. To be precise, the vortex pump is a special type of centrifugal pump. The internal structure of the pump body is different from that of the centrifugal pump. After the pump body is filled with liquid, when the impeller rotates, the liquid in the groove of the blade is thrown to the flow channel at a certain speed due to the action of centrifugal force. In the flow channel with a wider cross-sectional area, the flow rate of the liquid slows down, and part of the kinetic energy becomes static. Pressure energy. The vortex pump is also filled with water before starting. When the flow decreases, the pressure head increases and the power also increases, so do not close the outlet valve before starting the pump, and use bypass to adjust the flow. In chemical production, vortex pumps are widely used, and are suitable for conveying liquids with small flow, high pressure head and low viscosity.
