Installation method of sealing gasket of high pressure chemical water pump
Installation method of sealing gasket of high pressure chemical water pump
In the chemical industry, chemical pumps are frequently used, and high-pressure chemical water pumps are also widely used. The sealing gasket is connected to the pump body and the pipe flange connection is essential to prevent leakage. If the installation is not correct, it will appear when the equipment is running. It will damage the gasket and may even be dangerous. Here is a brief introduction to the gasket installation.
Gasket
Before installing the high-pressure chemical pump, you need to prepare the following equipment: calibrated torque wrench, hydraulic screw wrench, or other tightening tools; steel wire brush, brass brush is better; helmet; goggles; lubricant; other factories Provision of tools, etc.
Cleaning and tightening fasteners require various specific tools. In addition, standard installation equipment must be used and safe operation regulations must be followed.
1. Check and clean up:
Remove all foreign impurities and debris from the gasket pressing surface, various fasteners (bolts, studs), nuts and gaskets; check the fasteners, nuts and gaskets for burrs, cracks and other defects; Check whether the flange surface is warped or deformed, whether there are radial scratches, whether there are marks of deep tool bumps, or other influences on the gasket
Defects in seat; if a defective original is found, it should be replaced in time. If you have any questions about replacement, you can contact the sealing manufacturer in time.
2. Align the flange:
Make the flange face and the bolt hole align; for any situation where the front face cannot be obtained, a report should be made in time.
3. Install gasket:
Confirm that the gasket meets the specified size and specified material; check the gasket to ensure that there are no defects; carefully insert the gasket between the two flanges; confirm that the gasket is in the center between the flanges; unless the gasket The installation instructions require the use of adhesives or anti-sticking agents, otherwise it cannot be used privately; align the flange surface to ensure that the gasket is not punctured or scratched.
4. Lubricate the stressed surface:
Lubrication force area is only allowed to use specified or approved lubricant; apply enough lubricant on the force surface of all threads, nuts and gaskets; ensure that the lubricant does not pollute the flange surface or the surface of the gasket.
5. Install and tighten bolts:
Always use the correct tool, use a calibrated torque wrench, or other tightening tools that can control functions; consult the technical department of the seal manufacturer for torque requirements and regulations; tighten the nuts in accordance with the "cross symmetry principle";
Note: You should consult the technical department of the seal manufacturer for guidelines and suggestions on re-tightening the bolts; non-asbestos gaskets and gaskets containing rubber components that have been used at high temperatures must not be re-tightened (except as otherwise specified); Fasteners that receive corrosion heat cycles need to be tightened again; the operation of tightening again should be performed under ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure.
