How to choose multi-stage pump materials

 

 

A multistage pump is a machine that transports liquids or pressurizes liquids. It transfers the mechanical energy or other external energy of the prime mover to the liquid to increase the energy of the liquid. It is mainly used to transport liquids including water, oil, acid and alkali liquids, emulsions, suspoemulsions and liquid metals, etc. It can also transport liquids and gas mixtures. And liquids containing suspended solids.   
(1) Electrochemical corrosion: It is best to use the same metal material in the entire flow path of the pump.   
(2) The temperature of the medium: the material is brittle at a very low temperature, and creeps at a high temperature; a certain material can withstand the corrosion of a certain medium at room temperature, but not necessarily the corrosion of the medium at high temperature; so the material The performance should meet the requirements of the temperature of the conveyed medium.   
(3) Economy: Different materials have different prices and machining properties. Therefore, when several materials meet the requirements of corrosion and temperature at the same time, materials with relatively cheap prices and good machining properties should be selected.   
(4) Abrasiveness of solid particles: When the medium contains abrasive solid particles, wear-resistant materials should be used.
