Causes of blockage of submersible sewage pumps and treatment methods
Causes of blockage of submersible sewage pumps and treatment methods
Why is the anti-clogging performance of submersible sewage pumps more and more valued? This is mainly due to two reasons:
One is the increase in sewage disposal costs. Industrial enterprises are working hard to reduce the water consumption per unit of product production, which makes the solid matter and fiber content in the sewage higher and higher.
The second is that sewage pumps are increasingly adopting energy-saving means, that is, the driving method of speed adjustment, and speed adjustment cannot guarantee that the sewage pump will not be blocked. Aiming at the problem that impurities frequently block the impeller of the pump, the device adopts the method of clearing every block and not overnight.
Although work stoppage is avoided in this way, the pump body is frequently disassembled, resulting in increased wear and tear of the pump port ring and other parts, and a lot of manpower is required to clean the block each time. In order to change this situation, a carbon steel anti-fouling box was installed at the water inlet pipe of the pump with an inclination angle of 45. Use a filter in the box to filter impurities again to avoid clogging. The team cleans the pollution block 1 to 3 times a month. After the implementation of this program, a certain effect was received, and the manpower consumption was alleviated. There is a vent valve at the bottom of the dirt blocking tank, but there are still dead corners.
After some sewage and impurities accumulate in the dead corner, it is easy to cause minor gas poisoning injury to personnel during cleaning, which is not conducive to safe operation. There are two types of rotor blades for submersible sewage pumps, namely swirling blades and cutting blades. These two types of blades are most widely used. The swirling impeller does not move in the conveyed medium. According to the principle of fluid dynamics, the medium to be pumped is guided to the pump cavity, and the pumped medium flows past the impeller.
In this way, long fibers or solid substances in the pumped liquid medium are also pumped out. The cutting blade can chop up larger solid materials so that they are no longer blocked.
