Calculation formula for static pressure of liquid conveyed by corrosion-resistant fluoroplastic lined pump

15 Feb 2021Email

   Corrosion-resistant fluoroplastic lining pump pressure refers to static pressure. According to the provisions of EN12723: fluid pressure (Pb and PD) can be expressed by adding pressure, and other pressures can be expressed by gauge pressure (for example, the pressure calculated from the current local atmospheric pressure). Gauge pressure in the vacuum industry refers to the measured relative pressure of the gas, expressed as a negative number. How should these pressures be calculated? What formulas exist?

  The formula for calculating the static pressure of the liquid conveyed by the corrosion-resistant fluoroplastic lined pump:

  1. The pressure (Ps) at the inlet section of the fluoroplastic lined pump. The pressure calculated from the pressure at this elevation (Zs) as the starting point

  2, the pressure at the outlet section of the corrosion-resistant fluoroplastic lined pump (Pd)

   at this elevation (zd)

  The pressure is calculated from the starting point

  3, the pressure Psm at the pressure gauge at the inlet section of the corrosion-resistant fluoroplastic lined pump).

   The pressure of the pressure gauge in the measuring pipe filled with liquid.

   Measuring line filled with liquid:

  Ps=psm+ pgzs, m

  P-measure the density of the liquid in the pipe

  G-gravity acceleration zs

  M The difference between the center height of the pressure gauge of the inlet section of the anti-corrosion centrifugal pump and the height of the measuring point The pressure of the pressure gauge in the measuring pipe filled with gas

  Ps=Psm

  4, equal to the pressure in the pressure gauge of the outlet section of the corrosion-resistant fluoroplastic lining pump (Pdm)

   The pressure at the inlet section of the pump (p). The pressure (Ae) calculated from the pressure at the entrance section (Aa) of the elevation (za) as the starting point

   The pressure at the pump outlet section (pa). The pressure is calculated from the pressure at the exit section (Aa) of this elevation (za) as the starting point.

  Air pressure (PD) at the place where the pump is installed.

  The saturated vapor pressure (PD) of the fluid. It refers to the pressure when the fluid evaporates at the temperature of the inlet section of the anti-corrosion centrifugal pump.
