9 major precautions for submersible sewage pump mechanical seal
1. All kinds of sewage pump mechanical sealing should carefully check whether the number of mechanical seal parts meets the requirements before operation. Whether the components are damaged or not, especially the dynamic and static rings have defects such as bumps, cracks and deformation. If in doubt, correct or replace the new one.
2. Check if the chamfer of the bushing or gland is appropriate. It is necessary to repair if it is not suitable.
3. Before the operation of the submersible sewage pump mechanical seal, it is necessary to clean the contact surfaces of the components of the clean mechanical seal and related equipment. The equipment should be kept clean during the process, especially the surface of the moving and static ring and its auxiliary sealing components should be free from impurities and dust. Apply a layer of clean mechanical oil or turbine oil to the surface of the moving and stationary rings.
4. In order to prevent the end face of the gland from being skewed, after the coupling is corrected, the bolt should be evenly pressed when the pump is tightly pressed with the mechanical seal. Check the points with the feeler gauge, and the fault is not more than 0.05mm.
5. Check the joint space (ie concentricity) of the gland with the outer diameter of the shaft or bushing with a feeler gauge. The adjacent area should be even, and the allowable fault of each patient is not more than 0.10 mm.
6. The amount of spring tightening should conform to the rules. It is not allowed to have too large or too small image, and the tolerance is ±2,00mm. When the amount of tightening is too large, the end face pressure is increased, and the end face is worn out; when it is too small, the specific pressure is lacking. Not sealing. When the spring is loaded, it should move in the spring seat. When the device is single spring, pay attention to the direction of rotation of the spring, and its direction of rotation should be opposite to the direction of the shaft.
7. When the equipment moves the ring, it should be ensured that it can move actively. After the moving ring is pressed against the spring, it should be able to rebound automatically.
8. When the equipment is in the static ring, first install the sealing ring on the back of the static ring and then install the mechanical seal in the sealed end cover. The verticality of the static ring end face and the center line of the end cover should meet the technical needs. It is anti-reduction, but it cannot be contacted. Do not damage the end face of the stationary ring during the process.
9. During the process of the equipment, it is never allowed to hit the sealing element with something to prevent damage to the sealing element.
