What preparations should be made before installation of a single-stage centrifugal pump

There are six main points in the preparation for installation of single-stage centrifugal pumps that need attention. The following is an analysis of each installation preparation consideration for you:

1. Check whether the parts of the single-stage centrifugal pump unit are tidy, and check whether the centrifugal pump unit is damaged or loose bolts caused by transportation and handling.

2. The installation height of the single-stage centrifugal pump, the length, diameter, and flow rate of the pipeline should conform to the calculation, and strive to reduce unnecessary losses.

The installation height of the centrifugal pump should be calculated according to the atmospheric pressure, liquid surface pressure, and saturated vapor pressure of the conveying medium at different altitudes in different regions:
Hsafety≤HA—HV—△hs—NPSHr—0.5 (m)
Where: H Anyi centrifugal pump installation height, the distance from the centerline of the single-stage centrifugal pump shaft to the suction liquid surface. When the calculated value is "+", it means the distance between the center line of the pump shaft of the centrifugal pump and the suction liquid surface, and the installation height of the centrifugal pump can only be less than or equal to the calculated value; when the calculated value is "+", it means the liquid filling state is The distance that the suction liquid level is higher than the centerline of the centrifugal pump shaft. During installation, the liquid level of the backflowing liquid should be greater than or equal to the absolute value of the calculated value.
HA, an atmospheric pressure m (liquid column) of the liquid being sucked into the liquid
Hv-the saturated vapor pressure of the liquid at the conveying temperature m (liquid column)
△hs a total resistance loss of suction pipe m (liquid column)

In the normal temperature and clear water standard atmospheric pressure state, it is calculated by using the formula:

3. The suction and discharge pipes of the centrifugal pump must be clean and free of particles and other debris.

4. The foundation must be checked according to the basic diagram of the equipment single-stage centrifugal pump and the actual product of the centrifugal pump to confirm that the equipment foundation is correct

5. The foundation of centrifugal pump equipment must be firm, level and flat.

6. The place where the single-stage centrifugal pump is installed must be fully ventilated. Too high ambient temperature, high air humidity or dust in the surrounding will cause damage to the operation of the motor.
