1. The operation of multistage centrifugal pump should pay attention to the following five points:
a. When the axial force is balanced by the internal balance mechanism, the balance liquid flows out of the balance device. The balance liquid is connected from the balance water pipe to the suction section or a short pipe is set at the balance chamber, and the balance liquid flows out of the pump through the short pipe. In order to ensure the normal operation of the centrifugal pump, the balance water pipe must not be blocked.

b. The change of bearing temperature rise reflects the assembly quality of the centrifugal pump. The bearing temperature rise shall not be higher than the ambient temperature by 35℃, and the maximum temperature shall not be higher than 75℃. When the bearing temperature is too high, the bearing cooling chamber and the pump bracket should be cooled with water.
c. The rotor of the centrifugal pump has a certain axial movement during operation, and the clearance value between the end faces of the two couplings of the pump and the motor should be guaranteed.
d. During the operation of the centrifugal pump, the impeller, sealing ring, guide vane sleeve and balance disc should be checked regularly. The wear of the shaft sleeve should be replaced in time when the wear amount is too large.
e. The bearing part is cooled by external industrial water or tap water, and tap water can be used for the cooling water of the stuffing box cooling chamber and the pump bracket, and the cooling water pressure is 0.15~0.25Mpa. The pressure of the flushing fluid at the machine seal gland is 0.1-0.15 Mpa higher than the inlet pressure.
2. Centrifugal pump maintenance
a. The staff regularly records the operation of the equipment. The operator often observes and can detect the operation fault in time and eliminate the fault in time.
b. When the bearing is lubricated with grease, under normal circumstances, the grease must be replaced after one month of first use, and once every six months of subsequent use.
c. The normal operating temperature of the bearing is in the range of 40~60℃, which is the temperature measured on the bearing body. Slightly exceeding the above range is also feasible if the temperature remains constant.
d. If the bearing temperature exceeds 80 ℃ (if there is no thermometer, touch the bearing seat with your hand, feel hot and cannot stay, indicating that the temperature is too high), it must be checked;
e. There must be a small amount of leakage in the packing seal, and the leakage water is preferably in the form of drops;
f. When the packing gland can no longer be adjusted or the packing is rotten, and adjusting the gland nut cannot reduce the leakage, the packing should be replaced. When replacing the packing, it should be noted that the joints of two adjacent packings must be staggered by 120°;
g. Check that all gauges, especially inlet and outlet pressure gauges, indicate normal operating conditions.
